This idyllic, rural garden project in Sevenoaks had to incorporate a deer proof enclosed space in order for the clients dream garden to be realised. The build was designed by the innovative team at Dewlands Garden Design who came up with the larch post fence to keep the deer at bay but allow for the glorious countryside beyond to still be seen.
Wide sandstone and gravel steps allowing for plants to be incorporated into the design to give a softer feel, all held in place by corten steel risers.
The top terrace was built using sawn sandstone paving with clay pavers in the transition areas, with an in-ground water feature flowing into a pool.
The careful setting out of the plants for each flowerbed is a detailed and important part of the process.
